Rural Day Retreat
Yoga & Deep Relaxation
11 August, 2018

Take time out to retreat to the peaceful countryside of the Hambleden Valley.

Start the day with a dynamic, flowing practice of beautifully aligned yoga - learn something new about yourself & about yoga as you move through 2 and a half hours of yoga movement, meditation and breathing practice (pranayama), challenge yourself to try something new, find within yourself the relief of inner silence & one-pointed focus (dharana)

Lunch is vegetarian Indian Street Food provided by the wonderful Kran Sondh of The Cook Curry Club, followed by fresh fruit, home-made cakes & tea.

Frieth is a beautiful part of the world: green fields and English cottages, red kites in the sky & deer in the woods.  After lunch we will walk a few miles in the hills around the village, returning afterwards refreshed & ready for more yoga.

A deeply relaxing, restorative & meditative Yin Yoga practice awaits you in the afternoon.  Use blocks, bolsters & blankets to support your body in an intelligent series of long holds in passive poses.  After the dynamism of your morning practice, Yin Yoga will release & lengthen the deep tissue of your body, creating flexibility through peaceful release.  The perfect antidote to modern stress.

Emerge from the day feeling peaceful & refreshed, with a renewed sense of purpose.

"It was just wonderful. I came home feeling so relaxed, rested and energised ... everyone was so friendly and such great company ... I'm such a big fan of your retreats and feeling so grateful I could come"
